Jim Loretta has won acclaim for his unique and successful application of feng shui in the Cherry Hill East High School In-School Support Program. His successful combining of this ancient Chinese earth science with counseling won him a 2004 National Character Education Citation. He believes that feng shui is a “new” idea that can make a real difference in schools, not only as an alternative to suspension but especially in the classroom. He is available to help teachers, counselors, and administrators understand the ease with which feng shui principles can be applied in the traditional school settting to make a real difference in behavior, grades and performance on standardized tests.
